Hi.
Here is a new video. Full throttle. Have put in the original metering rods in the carburetor. I suspected Eddie of running lean. But I am not sure. I have the option of connecting a O2 sensor n the Y-Pipe. https://youtu.be/4s3g3mbORbg Greetings Stein

Hi.
As winter is closing in on us, I washed and vacuumed Eddie this weekend. Here is a picture from this seasons last trip. So now he is parked in one of our warehouses more or less for the next 6 months. But I think there will be stuff to do in the winter too. Greetings Stein

Hi.
A little update. In earlier posts I suspected an AN 12 cap would fit the EGR connection on the Bassani right side header. It did not. Wrong threads. The brass cap that I had put on earlier fit much better ( 3/4 " ). So now it is back on. Think I will paint it black. Other I have not done much. Replaced some cracked vacuum hoses. And heat protecting socks for the sparkplugs. The snow is still only in the mountains here. But we have got down to 0`C. I am watching the projects in the forum. It is entertaining Greetings Stein

I think black will look good on the cap.
And the protective boots are a good idea. As for snow, not yet here. Maybe not at all this winter. But how much snow do you get in a winter?

Hi.
The last 8 years its been less snow. I live 40 km inland from the north see and only 50 meters above sea level. Before Christmas the weather normally changes between nice weather, storms, rain and snow. There may be 50 cm snow in a period and then it may melt away. After Christmas it gets colder more consistently for 2 - 3 months. Then we have more or less snow all the time. Sometimes I have to borrow a tractor to drive away the heaps of snow around me and my neighbours houses. So we can start shuffeling snow by hand again... Picture from work last winter. If you go further inland there may be places with less snow, due to drier climate. It all comes from the Norh Sea. Mostly from north and west. Eastern winds give us cold ( very cold ) weather. No snow. Now it shifts between not so bad and bad weather ( rain , storm ). Though Norway is a small country, there is big differences in climate. Same as with you, but in a bigger scale :) Greetings Stein

That's a lot of snow! I used to think I wanted to live somewhere, like Colorado, that gets a lot of snow. What I didn't think about is how cold it is to go with the snow. In my old age I'm wanting less cold, so less snow.
But I'm glad there are people that like it. Or at least put up with it. Otherwise everybody would be here.

Hi.
I am not a big fan of the winter. But we have to live with it. Norway is between 60 and 70 degrees north. Like much of Canada and Alaska..

Are those electric trucks? Is that what the EV means - electric vehicle?

Hi 😆.. They are v8 diesels, 620 HP.
GW each truck is 52000 kg. I think they were going to a shipyard in Polen. No electric truck has been made so far that can compete with these machines 👍. Here is a picture of some pipes I had to clean free from snow before shipping. Last winter. Winter is a lot of extra work.. Greetings Stein

Thanks for the clarification.
Man, that snow does make for a lot of extra work. I think I'll stay right here.

Well, for whatever reason you weren't on the map. But you are now. I'm not sure it is quite the right spot, but we really don't want to be too accurate as we don't want un-invited visitors.
See what you think and I can move the pin if you want.

Close enough in my book. It is probably like where I live - drive into town and ask for me and you’ll find me.

Hi again. Winter is here with freezing temperatures and snow. Since summer I had a dream of buying new rims for Eddie. So I ordered Classic 3 rims from Mickey Thompson. Size 15" x 8". Made in China. They look great but unfortunately they have to little backspace, 3,62". Or ET -22. They are sticking out about an inch more than the original rims. That may give me problems with the police. And I dont like the look. There were very little clearance around the brake calipters so I have doubts about 15 " aluminiums rims with 4 -4,5 " backspace will fit. So to avoid more problems I bought 4 American Racing Baja rims in 16" x 8 " . Made in India. Backspace 4,4". ET 0. They fit perfectely. Since I also have a Suzuki Grand Vitara, 2001, with 16" x 7" rims I thought I might as well try them. Borbet, made in Germany. They fit perfectely. Backspace is 4,3". ET 5. With correct size tires they would be ok.
All backspace is measured by me. May not be absolutely correct. The ET is the number stamped on the rim. MT or AR ? MT looks best ( my opinion ) and surely has the best finish. Hope this was informative for some. Greetings Stein.
