Try sending an email, like I did to Shaun.
Do you think I wrote this for nothing????

It wasn't non sequitur in the context of being directly beneath Shaun's offer and telling me to send an email.
I literally had to ask you for his address because it wouldn't go through

No, I don't think you wrote it for nothing. Which is why I asked where you are encountering captcha - I wanted to know because if it is important to you it is important to me.
I didn't know because I don't send email through the forum very often. That's because we, both of us, have access to people's email addresses since we are admins. Click the person's screen name in the avatar and it'll pop up. I fully understand that there are significant problems with the forum. I've spent many hundreds of dollars trying to find a way to fix them - but have not succeeded. So the only solution is to move to another platform and start over. Is that what you are suggesting?

I'm not trying to frustrate you, Gary
I'll be the first to say what an admirable job you were doing. I'm an "admin", in name only I don't know anything about the back end of this forum except for how to make someone a member, or to ban them, or to move a post. I clicked Shawn's name and up pops the option to send him an email. So I tried. Six times..... 😖😡 Then I gave up on the damn Captcha and asked you for it. I didn't even look for the ability to find his email directly. I'm not used to having this kind of POWER. 🙄. 😄 Edit because *screen protector, and this little machine likes to put words in my mouth... 😡

You have more power than you use, as do I. Nevertheless, the Nabble software has a large number of limitations. So I've been thinking about the possibility of having two forums on the website in parallel. In other words, start up a new forum using a different platform and running both to see what we think. If we really like it then we could move to the new one but keep running the old one, this one, for the history.
So I've started reading up on forum platforms and have reached out to my mentor on forums, Greg. I'm FAR from pulling the trigger on this idea, but am thinking about starting and pinning a new thread asking what people would think about that idea. However, before I do I want to have some idea of what the benefits would be.

I well remember the trials and tribulations....
You were working with him, and Pedro attempting to unscramble whatever the Nabble owner had done. (like borking our joining process)

I've been under the weather so haven't been checking my email or this forum much.
Jim, I received an initial two emails to my junk box, and then a third email regarding your truck's location to my regular inbox not long after. In total, I received three of your emails. |

Edit: , I never got CC'd, but maybe it went to spam?
ALL this points to the forum backend being worthless. I'm not sure what happened the other four times??? Except maybe I DIDN'T get all the bits of stairs, motorcycle's or palm tree? I know for damn sure palm trees don't have branches. That's one of the things that defines these arcane monocots. Again, I surely don't like training AI's that are being used for good OR evil, for free. I'm certainly no Luddite. 🤷♂️ Google or whatever entity is behind this garbage is not on my side. (see above)

A few years back I told someone on FTE that you could simply plug the output of a 1356 with a stub of 1 1/2 sch 40 pvc and keep right on driving.
They called me a liar, so here's proof. Documented for posterity! IDK, maybe they had a fixed yoke and the other type of seal? (I think Jeff had asked about getting 'the wrong seal? )

Good proof. So are you back on the road? Or just getting ready to be?
And yes, you have the power, but please don't use it.
