I'm the happy owner of a 1985 F150 xlt lariat explorer. I got it about a year ago and have done a little to keep it a good runner. I live in the snow belt so it's certainly not showroom condition and will have to make a determination on doing a few body parts. In the mean time, I've done some undercoating etc. to try to preserve what's there now.

New tie rods, radius arm bushings, d.s. ball joints, water pump and belts, fluids etc. The truck has yet to see a garage...ball joints were a challenge, thank goodness for a millwright brother-in-law.

I've been a fan of Gary's work here, the new site is quite nice indeed, (thanks Gary).

So, tell us more about you and the truck. Where do you live? What engine and tranny does the truck have? Etc.
