Adjusting the distributor to get the timing right on the 85, keys are in, truck is running...I put just a tad too much sideways force on the cap and the rotor smacks a post inside, truck dies. Silly me unsnaps the cap before turning the keys to the off position or pulling the battery cable. Went to pull the rotor button out and zap!....straight from my right hand across to my left elbow into the grill frame. Woke my butt up that's for sure. And I was an ET in the Navy....should have known better. Reminded myself to never be in a hurry.
Project "Red" (not really named yet): '84 F150 4x2, Holley 4bbl 351 w/302 cam shaft and side exit pipes. Still learning what else is there but in progress of putting her back together and on the road.
