Specialty Plates

In a search for a specialty plate for the front bumper on my truck, I stumbled upon this and ordered it. I am very impressed, so much so that I thought I'd share it here. This is high quality, reasonably priced, and super fast ship. They have other nice options as well.

This was the descriptive on the product I ordered:
" The Lazer-Tag is our original novelty license plate offered by Eurosport Daytona, Inc. Weighing 1/2 pound, measuring about 12 x 6 inches, mirror and/or opaque 1/8 inch lazer-cut high impact acrylic design(s) are adhered to an ABS backing material (1/16 inch), with genuine 3M adhesives, to create a captivating composition and quality product."

Check out the website:   https://eurosportdaytona.com/store/

I like it!  'Tis a shame that Big Blue has no place for a front tag.  But it sure looks good on yours.

Vice Grip Garage sorta inspired me on this, so I bought one of his plates.   ON the rear, I bought an original 1981 NC commercial plate at swap meet and have been running it on the truck with my legal tag under the seat.   Have had local PD, NC Highway patrol, and local sheriff deputy behind me long enough to notice if they wanted and so far so good.  I know it could be a sticky situation and I'll change it if they ever stop me and say anything.

I was wondering if NC used a different plate in 1981 but never really looked that much into it.
If you dont mind could you post up that 81 plate?
I do under stand if you dont want to just like to see what one looks like.

Dave, it's all good. I think finding one of these plates in pristine condition would be rare. And, if one did find it, might be pretty expensive. Thanks for looking, Dave!
