BITOG has been bashing Fram for years.  I just use MotorCraft.

I use nothing but Motorcraft filters on all my Fords as well,  and have done for many years now. I personally seen one that had collapsed and nearly ruined a 351C  about thirty years ago. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.

I read some where Motrocraft filters are made by Purolator.

I use the Motorcraft also, unless Wally World is out, then I'll get Purolator or NAPA or Wix.

This was done several times, keep in mind Ford and MOPAR V8s used the exact same size filter for years.

Exactly, they're cheaper and far superior to the fram in my opinion despite all their marketing gimmicks. If the fram materials and design were better, the Motorcraft filters would have been redesigned accordingly.
