Hello everyone! My name is Rick and it's great to be here! I am glad to see lots of old friends here from FTE. I hope we can make this forum even better! I was going to post this topic over there, but decided to post it HERE first:
My wife and I drove my completely restored 1985 Ford F150 XLT Lariat to a local car show here in Florence, South Carolina in April and my truck (Lucille) placed in the Top 20! We had so much fun that we decided to go to another local car show last weekend. My truck came home with yet another trophy: BEST FORD!

The Fonz is here! Welcome, Rick. Glad you found us. And I'm not surprised that your truck is winning trophies. How 'bout driving it to Skiatook in just over a week? I can almost guarantee you'll win a trophy, although mine aren't nearly of the same quality as the ones you've won. You can see the flyer for the show here.

My Wife and went to another car show last weekend, and Lucille was the star of the show. She brought home three trophies:
1. - Best in Class 2. - Best Antique 3. - Best of Show Can you believe that? BEST OF SHOW is the top award of the entire show! And I was parked right beside a 1966 Corvette and in front of a 1965 Ford Mustang! The President of the Car Club who hosted the event was the final judge. And after examining my truck, he informed me that it was an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) quality vehicle, and if I would consider joining the Swamp Fox Car Club?!

I LOVE this truck! I'm kicking myself a little bit also because there was a full set of these wheels on Ebay and I waited too long to buy them and they sold. I wasn't 100% on them at the time, but of course I want them even more now that they're not available. It is a lovely truck Rick. You did a great job on it.

Hey, thanks Chief!
Those wheels are starting to get harder to find. If you find a set, don't wait around. These trucks are getting old enough now that you shouldn't wait if you find a part you need. Parts *do* run out, but you can always make more money. I checked the Ebay seller I purchased my own wheels from a few years ago, and he now has 2 available in black and 2 in silver: https://www.ebay.com/itm/01571-Factory-OEM-Reconditioned-Steel-Wheel-15-X-8-Black-Full-Face-Painted/163894553742?fits=Make%3AFord&hash=item2628e06c8e:g:~2oAAOSwIh5dmfFJ https://www.ebay.com/itm/01571-Factory-OEM-Reconditioned-Steel-wheel-15-X-8-Silver-Full-Face-Painted/133195404634?fits=Make%3AFord&hash=item1f0310955a:g:ThEAAOSwW~pdm0FD
