Does anyone have, or know of anyone who might have one or more of Ford's behind the seat
"Cab Caddy" storage units?

There's a company that still sells these...a generic one, not the Ford ones of course.
Jim posted a link a long time ago...Jim, do you remember where? American Van or something like that? It was a guy I remember you saying you knew him (the local distributor I mean, in your area).

I remember saying that my guy at Marciano's (the local upfitter) told me he hadn't sold one in a long time.
Let's understand that there are probably more 4dr "pickup trucks" sold today than single bench. I could look back through my posts for a manufacturer and part number, but unfortunately most of these things are discontinued...

Oh, here it is...
https://www.americanvan.com/pick-up-truck-backwall-storage-system.html I seem to recall it being either $89 or $99 though, last time it was posted.

Best bet is to use the part number and search on ebay. I had a hit a few years ago but wasn't going to pay $2,500 for the one I saw.

Thank you for that Cory!
It's certainly different than the glass filled nylon one from Ford (like Gary has) But I guess it serves a purpose. Wasn't there someone on here that drew one up and made it out of plywood not long ago?

John/Machspeed had one made to my drawing/dimensions. It was made out of metal and is quite heavy. But it does seem like someone made one out of ply, although I don't remember who that was.

Thanks, Jim. That's a lot of good searching.
I wonder if I need to create a page to house this info in one place?

We already had a page at Documentation/Interior/Behind The Seat Storage. So I brought it up to date with my dimensions & drawings as well as links to the ones made by Machspeed and HBF84. But note that there's a link on that page to one sold by American Van and it looks to still be available.

I’m Navy but have been stationed with the Marines for about 50% of my career… After 13.5 years with the Navy, I have 5 days at sea but plenty of time in the deserts eating MRE’s instead of quadrangle fish sticks!
Flattered you guys remembered my plywood organizer and hope it helps!!!

Gosh, I'm sorry about that.
I'm not quite sure what made me think you were a Marine.

Marines ask the Navy for medical stuff and chaplains. i’ve been to a bunch of Marine Corps Balls and used some schwag to make some beverage holders that won’t tip over!

LOL! I love the dash-speaker-cup-holder!
BTW, we often forget that the opened glove box door offers two cup holders... well, truck has to be parked since the moulded flat circles do not "hold" a lot of things.
