Haha it'll scare you if you aren't expecting it to come forward that fast! And that stop cable better not fail
Here is what I did for the bumpers: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1589626-bucket-seat-rubber-bumper.html (I wouldn't go out of my way to find Ford ones again but would just use normal hardware store ones)

Cool! Thanks!
I was going to go to the hardware store and see what I can find. That helps. Waiting for some I want to go work on the truck weather!

So I went to junkyard this morning to see if I could get the padded steering wheel out of this old Bullnose. Somebody had been in there to remove the ignition housing and completely destroyed the steering wheel to remove it. Jackasses. Steering wheels are so easy to remove too...lol.

That’s ridiculous! Sad really. I guy I used to work with would say “use a little finesse!”

Haven’t posted in this thread in forever, but I also haven’t been to the junkyard in forever, so I thought I’d share some pics from while I was out scrounging for some much needed trinkets today.
Check of this beast F350...broken right in two from being picked up... A rotten and rat infested Brick Bronco. Another rotten Bricknose but it did have a really nice interior. It gave up some park brake cable parts that I needed. Plus this aeronose F150...which shows you what 90’s frames look like around here in the off chance somebody catches them before they break in two LOL.

Wow! Your vehicles take a BEATING! Even the bumpers rust through, much less the sheet metal.

Good eye, David! I missed them. Or at least "it" as we don't know what's on the other side.

Haha, Gary nothing is spared in the land of rust. That F350 4x4 was broken in two like a dry piece of driftwood, the frame was that bad. haha. I went out for a pair of door conduits for speaker wiring, and a couple parts for the park brake...the little clamp that fastens the two cables to the bottom of the frame, and the spring that goes between the equalizer bar and the cable bracket on the frame. Scored all good parts for $9. That F350 4x4 has a 5.8EFI in it...but I couldn't figure out what year it was (to see if it was the desirable 351w roller block). Where is the certification label usually located on these monster 4 doors? (Rear driver's door wouldn't open btw).

Two things catch my eye Scott!
Green grass on the ground at the junkyard?? Ours is gravel and muck! lol. On the 07/86 F150 with the badge...that fender looks like it's in nice condition...bottom not rotted out like they all are around here. I love junkyard strolls!

Good eye
This would best be described as hundreds of vehicles lined up in a pasture. Cows and all. It's nice because the livestock keeps it mowed but the downside is that between and in the vehicles you often have to fight massive thorns bushes. It all does make for a nice place to spend time just walking though.

I did a junkyard stroll this morning and found an old Bull that gave up her rubber floor mat for my 1980 that is rocking the bare steel floor!
And this ugly old Brick gave up a delay wiper module, just because it was there lol.

Ya, and the old mat cleaned up pretty good (stopped at the car wash on the way home). It’s only the short one that ends where the front seat bolts are, but it’s better than the bare steel floor.
