Hi my name is Bill Im from Ct. I just got an 1986 F150 supercab four wheel drive with a 302 4speed .I swapped putting ball joints in his in his replacement 1988 f 150 for it so was a good deal .The 1986 currently has a no spark situation.The previous owner changed a lot of parts so have decide where it went wrong pus what he didwrong any help would be appreciated .On another note I also have an 1990 F150 super cab with a 300 5 speed that i daily drive.I also have 2 Buick Skylarks 1970 Hardtop &1971 Convertible  Thanks all

Bill - Welcome!  

On the truck, I'm not quite sure what you meant to say, but I think you meant that you got the truck from a friend as payment for doing a ball joint job on his 1988 truck.  Right?  If so, that seems like a good deal.

But, the '86 has no spark.  I have a EEC-IV Diagnostics page (Electrical/EEC-IV Diagnostics) that has a troubleshooting process in it for just such a condition.  I would follow those steps slavishly and I'll bet you find the problem.
