As long as you buy name brand quality bearings, I wouldn't worry about where they're made. We service rotating equipment for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, and mostly use SKF bearings, but once in a while NSK. If they're "cups and cones" then we use Timken bearings.
PS: I just checked our inventory, and I see we also have bearings from Nachi and AEC, but these were supplied by one of our US OEM's...not bearings we purchased ourselves.
I have no idea where any of them are made these days...but SKF is basically our go-to bearing manufacturer.
