Brake booster gasket

86 1/2 Brutus
Hey guys, I'm at a total loss here.  There is this gasket that sits between the brake booster push rod and the master cylinder.  I cannot find this thing anywhere.  Does anybody have any idea, or even what this thing is called.  I've looked everywhere

Nick - Is this it?  The MPC says it was only used on the E100's with manual disk brakes.

It is brake boost push rod gasket, it sits inside of the hole in the front of the brake booster around the push rod that pushes into the master cylinder.

I've never seen anything like it

Perhaps it's for military fleet vehicles only?

I've not seen it either.  If it isn't in this illustration then I'd guess it isn't common.

Re: Brake booster gasket

If it is part of the booster it was only serviced in replacing the entire booster.

There were no repair kits available with the brake boosters at all.

If it is part of the master cylinder, (which it should be pictured above if it is) then it will be available in the complete master cylinder, or in its repair kit.

Brake Booster:
1984/86 - F-150: E4TZ-2005-A

Master Cylinder:
1980/86 - F-100/150: D7TZ-2140-C

Master Cylinder Repair Kit:
1980/86 - F-100/150: D7TZ-2004-A

--------------------------------

P.S. I believe it is part of the brake booster itself, and that is why you cannot find it in the MPC.

Try looking at remanufactured boosters and see if any of them reference that gasket.
