This time, I used the winch, but it still put up a helluva fight! I think it was an elm or oak.

I left the truck hooked to it overnight - I'll probably finish ripping it out tomorrow.

That's quite a story! And yet you won. Three batteries to supply the current. And the anchor line sinking deeply into the other stump. That would explain why a similar stump said "is that all you've got" when I tried to pull it down with just the truck.
