My name is Mike. My truck is a 1982 Ford F250 XLT Lariat 4x4. Bought new in February 1982 for $13,500.
Originally the truck came with a 351W with VV carb and EECIII. It now has a 460 with lots of goodies.
It a fun truck to drive and play around with. But at 6 MPG I don't use it as a daily driver. I have 59,800 mile on it.
Lastly, since this is an introduction post - I'll add that I'm north of 55 years old, married, live in central FL. My first occupation was as a mechanic (went to trade school after HS) got certificate or degree or whatever its called in Diesel Mechanics. Worked for International Harvester dealership and later NJ Kenworth. Then the last 25 years for Airport (City of Orlando) as a fleet mechanic and manager.
So, my hobbies are classic cars and trucks, HTPC, and Home Repair/Renovation.
Thanks for reading.
