I've been looking through past posts on wiper blades, and looking at brochure pictures. I've read about folks swapping from the pin arms to the J hook arms. Did the Ford trucks ever come with anything other than the black wiper frames that are currently available at auto parts stores? I picked up some blades very cheap at a closeout store recently, and they work great, but I failed to notice that they are very bulky. I can't stand how they look. My 68 Chevelle uses stainless frames with rubber inserts for wipers. I guess back in those days you could just buy the rubber inserts. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a more vintage style that may fit the original pin type wiper arms. The Chevelle blades are way too short, but this style would look nice I think.
