Where goes this black plastic trim?

Hi people!

I am completing the restoration of my 1984 Crew Cab, and in my stuff boxes I found this "mysterious" black plastic trim. Really don't find where it goes. Any help will be welcomed!

Possible that it comes from another vehicle, I can't say.

I have no idea what that is, nothing like that in my crewcut..... but if it is Ford part won't there be a number on it somewhere?

I don't recognize it either. But agree it should have numbers, and probably a Ford oval, if for a Ford.

Thanks gentlemen, I will examine if I see some part number.
I suspect this item was tired to remain in the paint shop, so it jumped in the box with the other trims, hoping to begin a new life here with BigBro.
Too bad for it, we discovered this stowaway.
