Where does this wire go lol

Found this today while changing plugs.  It comes out of the loom that goes to the alternator.  Alternator is still charging properly.  I wrapped some electrical tape around it just in case.

Can you identify the color/colors of it?

Right, it is really hard to see in the little bitty pic.  But if it is white w/a black stripe then it is the stator wiring from the alternator.  Sometimes it is used to heat the electric choke.  But not all the 2bbls, assuming that's what you have as your sig doesn't say, had a provision for an electric heater.

I’m not with the truck right now.  It has an electric choke(Edelbrock 1406) that gets power elsewhere.  It goes through that connector that is also pictured.
