If we have someone(s) that know their way around CSS and could help me make some mods maybe we could solve this problem. But it is beyond my knowledge level. Sorry!
Help?

I may be misunderstanding but the header is seen when scrolling DOWN? For me it disappears once it's out of view and only shows up when I scroll back up slightly. From then on if I keep scrolling up it remains visible.
If I then scroll back down it disappears again. So for the behavior I see it's a trade off between having to scroll all the way back up to get the menu but having the menu cover up some of the content.

Keyboard pops up and the banner drops down when you open the reply window.
If you're looking at a monitor or a high resolution screen you may end up with some space between them. I'm lucky if I get two lines showing. So this completely obscures the line of buttons from "Quote" to More v I don't know what code you would need to defeat the drop down banner while in the reply window, but it would greatly improve the UX for some

Thanks Jim. Can you take a screen capture?
I was on my desktop earlier not thinking about mobile. Am on my mobile now but am not seeing what I think you are saying. Here is mine: By default it starts out with the textbox more centered vertically but I scrolled up to show they I don't actually get a header in the Replay page when on mobile. Just the breadcrumb links.

Is the Forum a victim of its own success?

Actually, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of forums on Nabble's servers. So it is a collective issue.
I've tried, hard, to move off to our own servers but it hasn't worked.

Yep, I know you tried hard Gary.
Feels like Nabble’s servers are kind of «Hotel California»… We are programmed to receive You can check-out any time you like But you can never leave.

That's a good, if freaky, analogy. I love that song, but the line "We are all just prisoners here of our own device" rings too true.

Is there anyway to change the advanced search function to reverse chronological order?
Skipping through hits 12 at a time (from 2018!) Is infuriating... 🙂

I'll look, but last time I looked at that function it was Greek to me. I was just hoping to make it come up chronological first instead of whatever it uses and couldn't figure it out then. But maybe I'll get lucky this time.

Is there a way to make the members map alphabetical instead of chronological?
I don't have any control F and it's a real pita to scroll hundreds of names on a phone. Thanks! Also, I just looked up bulletproofF250 who I know is in Waterford/New London and the map took me to the Aleutain Islands!

I'll have to see if there's a way to change the order, but that's not obvious to the casual observer.
As for Bulletproof, here's what I see with a Cnt/F. And I don't see anybody in the Aleutians.

There wasn't a pin.
That's just where the map took me when I clicked the name. I waited a couple of minutes, and it didn't change. Of course I had to zoom WAY out to figure out where I was.

Will this work?
How to Control F in Chrome on Android Open the kebab menu (three vertical dots) in the upper right. Tap Find in page. Chrome will search as you type and highlight matching text. Select Search (the magnifying glass icon) to close the keyboard and finish your search. Sep 12, 2022 How to Control F on Android - Lifewire

I have Chrome as baked in to Android (on a phone) not Chrome as an OS, like a Chromebook.
Have you considered a Discord server, for back page discussions?

Ok, so that doesn't work. I'll look further,
Haven't really thought about Discord for back-page discussions as some of the forum software options that we may look at offer that function as well. Most allow one-to-one private messaging but some have group chats.

I'm already conditioned not to use it...
Though I did look for the body builders spec page when I fished out your marked up drawing for the fender mount clips yesterday. So the grid at least appears. Discord is a known quantity, and almost always runs in private mode. You could have a Admin room, segregated from that, as well.

Can you post pg 100 of the 1996 EVTM (Power windows)?

Jim - I've apparently not scanned that in yet. I'm helping a friend touch-up the paint on his daughter's rear bumper today so I should be able to scan that between coats of paint.
