We are working on our Huge Brakes for TTB but I need some info and I’m hoping someone on here knows. It looks like there are several versions of knuckles for the 80-96 D44 TTB. First major difference is that it looks like they went from 6 bolt spindles used in 80-92 to 5 bolt spindles for 93-96. That’s pretty obvious. But the knuckle somehow changed after 86 so 87-92 have a different knuckle. Is the difference only in the way the caliper attaches? That’s what my research is showing. Then in 94 they changed the spindle and hub design? So the rotor is the same for 80 to 93, except for 87 (what happened in 87)? Can anyone explain all of this to me? I get that we will need to have different versions of the bracket 80-92 vs 93-96 but did the distance from the face of the knuckle to the mounting surface of the hub change from 80-96? That’s really the question that we need to answer without having to buy all of the parts for a dozen different model year TTBs.
