The first version was like "stock" it did not go too far down the inner side, which, when objects being removed from the bed, could catch on the edge.
A suggestion was made to lengthen the inner side so it can bend in and match the tailgate and nothing can hook on it...... I like it. Version 1, edge exposed.  Version 2, Edge bent in to contour the original.
