I'll probably get relisted at a lower price. It is new though... For those who are doing a $40K Haggerty "Excellent" grade restoration!

1984 F150: 300 L6, AOD, RWD. EEC IV / TFI, Feedback Carter YFA Carb. Stock everything but radio (for now).

I suspect you're right Dan. I emailed him immediately, but avoided hinting that this will not sell at that price (which I firmly believe), but rather just let him know that there is a buyer willing to buy for something less than that starting price. His response suggests he won't take anything less

Stillwell is notorious for that. If I remember correctly, Bill (NumberDummy) used to list them as "HIGH BUCK" along with Bob Allen Ford due to their high prices.

Has anyone ever tried to restore or buff out these panels? I have one, but its just seen 40 years of use. Is this aluminum that could be polished and the letters reapplied?

He must be confusing the slide lock with one of those flip up/out ashtrays some vehicles had

Wonder if someone (Ford dealer) tried to install it, pushed too hard and put it back in the box.
