Standard Motor Products LX203T Ignition Module Reviews

Hi folks,

I'm loading up my RockAuto cart with a bunch of parts I need, and I'm curious if anybody has installed a Standard Motor Products LX203T Duraspark Ignition module? What I'm really curious about is if it has the start retard output feature, as I know some of them do not. Anybody know if these modules are any good or not?

1994 F150 4x2 Flareside. 5.0 w/MAF, 4R70W, stock.
1984 F150 4X2 Flareside. Mild 302 w/ 5spd. Sold.
1980 F150 4X4 Flareside. 300i6 w/ 5spd. Sold in 2021.
1980 F100 4X2 Flareside. 351w/2bbl w/NP435. Sold in 1995

I don't know but it is interesting the ra has them in their economy section. they don't consider them standard or daily

I've occasionally found what I'd consider "very good" parts marked as economy... go figure. I use such classifications as a guideline more than anything... ultimately it's my call on what I buy and install.

1984 F150: 300 L6, AOD, RWD. EEC IV / TFI, Feedback Carter YFA Carb. Stock everything but radio (for now).
