I did. I switched it back as I didn’t really like it though

I like how it sits, with the rims and tires as well. Did you paint the gauge needles and other spots blue? That's kinda cool... In rehab: 1984 F150 2wd Flareside pickup. I'm just painting my needles orange today, so clusters have been catching my eye.
Good luck with the truck. I like it.

Looking good and only in 3 months.
I love the wood grain it really "up grades" the inside. Come Dec. I will have mine 2 years and not even close to being on the road. I hope spring time to get paint on it as it has gotten cold and no heat in the garage. Dave ----

I use a marker to color the needles. It is easy, no mess and you don't get too much paint on the needle, which can mess with it's operation.

Very nice makeover! Did you add cruise control function? I'm curious how hard that would be to do...

Love this Flareside! Anybody know if the owner is still around and active online? Anybody know what the paint code is for this dark blue? There is a picture of the certification label earlier in the thread, but I can't read the code.

Well that was quick! Nice truck Kristopher. I'm a big fan of blue. Can you tell me what brand those slot wheels are, and what size the tires are? Just curious. Thanks!

To dang cold to go look.. lol. I paid a pretty penny for them used. I just searched Craigslist for 80’s mag racing rims. And I threw on Les Schwab tires.
