Yep they do and I find it highly questionable such as why dont they make a longer sending unit for said application vs saving money and making you spend more money by wasting your time modifying your old unit.
Big reason why I shelved the idea of adding a rear auxiliary tank with a high volume transfer pump to my saddle tank. I would have got the bigger 38 gallon tank and didnt like the idea of having to chop and modify a sender.
