Rear seat belts locked

Good Morning!

On the read bench of the F350 there are retractable lap belts on each end. Driver side is locked, passenger side is fully retracted into the casing.

Anyone have a line on replacements or potentially a fix for these?

I also noticed the C pillar trim had a cut out location for shoulder belts. Was that an option? Without going and pulling trim right away I figured someone may confirm that I can upgrade to shoulder belts on the rear seat.

The rear part of the cab on a crew cab is the same as a standars cab, The upper seat belt mounts are there but not threaded (7/16-20), Same for the lower mount, it is under the sill plate. I installed rear outboard shoulder belts on my 1986 F350 crew cab dually.

Did you tap the uppers or have to install a nut plate?

Just tapped them.

Great I prefer to have the shoulder belts anyway. Safer for the kiddos in the back.

That is why I did mine for the grandkids who were still early teens at that time.
