I'm posting this not as a question but to help others.
Poncho Loco has virtually no power assist when turning right, but plenty turning left. I did a bit of research. This is a common failure mode in our steering boxes. Go figure, it is what it is.
In case you have a similar affliction...I recommend a Blue Top steering box, which has an actual re-machined race on the sector shaft. Std rebuilds do not, so will always have some degree of play.
