Power Steering pulley source?

Chass
Hello,
I have an 1985 F250 4x4 460/7.5 liter with Air and messed up the power steering pulley.   Any suggestions on replacement sources?
Thanks in advance
Chuck

Every now and then somebody pops up looking for one of these PS pulleys, and I don't believe anybody is making them in the aftermarket. That leaves the junkyard and scrap vehicles. I guess the good news is that they were used on lots of other vehicles besides the pickups, so they should be somewhat available, assuming you can find a junkyard with old vehicles (in other words, a southern junkyard).

Some on Ebay, not sure if they are the same...

This one is an E2...

The pulley for a 460 is unique according to the MPC snippet posted here on the site under Documentation/Suspension and Steering/Steering/Power Steering/Part Numbers.

This is the engineering number (stamped on the part) he should be looking for (if he has A/C):

E3TC-3D673-BA

The part number is:

E3TZ-3A733-B

Shaun. there is a single groove for non-AC trucks and the double groove for trucks with AC. Apparently it was done for the fan as they only go crank, WP and PS. AC is separate, but does cross the outer groove of the WP pulley. Alternator is crank and alternator only and air pumps are run off the alternator pulley.

I definitely do not miss trying to find that "matched set" for the power steering pump.

Good to know Bill. The MPC (on the site) is very misleading as the only other number shown for a 460 power steering pulley is listed as 1987/ and for EFI (Serpentine). I haven't checked my copy of the MPC to see if any other numbers are shown.

That one if I remember correctly is composite with a steel hub so the R&R tools will work.
