Good evening, I’m making good progress on my F-250 restoration. I did make a dumb decision and ended up breaking my power steering pump bracket.
I was wondering if anyone had one laying around or if you can help me find another one. I’m having trouble finding a part number to search for. It’s a 1984 F250 with a 460. Thanks for the help. ![]() ![]()

The bracket should be the same '83-'87, but will differ depending on if you have A/C.
I'm unable to find the proper page here on the site, and unfortunately I'm laid up in a hospital bed ATM.... I would have thought that there was an illustration in the Saginaw swap pages, but they are "Under Construction" Hopefully Gary will be along to help.

According to the MPC the part number for a 460 w/o A/C is E3TZ 3C511-D. But I don't see a listing for one with A/C so is there one bracket for the A/C compressor and PS pump?
And apparently this truck doesn't have A/C? ![]()

Interesting that they don't have the AC application.

I'm looking through pictures of pulling Big Blue's original engine to see what that bracket looks like....

Here are the brackets I took off of Big Blue, and I don't see one that looks like what we are looking for. Am I missing it?

The cast bracket pivots inside the stamped piece in the lower right, with the crescent slot....
The cast bracket is captive between the pump and pulley.

Let me see if I have a good shot of the original dual belt setup and mount for the PS pump. I believe that setup was with A/C.
Ok, I found them. First picture, you can see the PS pump mount casting under the AC compressor. ![]() Second picture you can see the PS pump mount where the pivot bolt passes through it. ![]() And, no, I no longer have any of that.

I've got dual belts but no ac.
I'm kinda unable to go take a picture, unfortunately. ![]()

Gary, my truck does have A/C if that helps. Thank you everyone for digging into this.

Do any of the parts in my pic look like what you need? If so I'll see if I still have them.

Gary,
I don’t see anything in that picture that looks familiar. Thank you though.

Actually you need the cast aluminum piece in the bottom center of the photo.
(It's painted red)

Jim - I pulled those bits out of the bin and checked them out, and if I got the right one you were talking about then I'm pretty sure that's not it.
The ID# is E5HE 9C476-BA. (There is no E5HE 9C478-anything, so that's actually a "6" not an "8".) And that decodes to E5HZ 9B450-A, which is a BRACKET (EXHAUST AIR SUPPLY PUMP MOUNTING) with a 85/87 E-F250/350 & a 460. The illustration seems to match the pictures. So let me do some research to see what else I have and what part is needed... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The new perspective makes it clear.
Sorry, I'm stuck in a bed and can't reach my glasses. He's showing the casting that's bolted to the pump itself, and the pulley is pressed on the other side.

Yes, he's showing base # 3A732, as shown below.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see that in this listing for a 460 in an F-Series. Am I missing something?
Jermd21 - Can you find the ID# on that part? I should be able to cross it to the PN. ![]()

It's D8AZ-A
'83-'89 F-100-350, F-Superduty and F53 stripped chassis. The only engine available in all of those is a 460.

Well, I think I may have one! Found a power steering pump that still has the bracket on it, and the pulley is marked E3TC 3D673-CA, which is PN E3TZ 3A733-C and that fits an 83 on 460 with 4wd. So it must be the C-II pump off of Big Blue.
I'll pull the pulley off and see what the bracket's # is... ![]()
