Gary, as you know my employer has been a little sketchy regarding the future of the plant where I work, but provided nothing drastic happens this year I will be there and plan to bring the ‘81 F150 for the show. If it can pull the camper to Death Valley it should be good for the trip to Skiatook!

Jonathan - You are on the list. And, I am sure the F150 will be up to the job. Are you going to try to beat David's MPG?

Gary, if I beat David’s mpg then you had better check my math! I do, however, have six months to do some things that might help me to beat my current mpg numbers. Some of those very flat stretches in Texas and western Oklahoma should produce some good results 🙂

Measure it from Flag to Clines Corners, and from ABQ to western OK.

Count in Don and Stacey from Dallas, TX area!!
Just made the reservation at the Casino. All they had left already are just the double beds. Would've wanted one of the King rooms but I'm running a little late getting to this. Will be haulin The Beast up and driving it while we're there.

Don - Excellent! I'll call the casino in a bit and have them convert yours to a king bed if they can.

I've changed the block of rooms to 7 doubles and 3 kings. But I can't change someone's reservation. So if you want a king room just call the hotel again and change it over to a king.

Gary,
I am supposed to be in Reno NV about that time. I will see if I can make a stop in there on my way. I'll stay in Bartlesville with family if I can make it.

Put me down as a 'maybe' too, please. It'll depend on what my class schedule looks like come fall, but if I can work it in then I'll be there. Won't need a room, either - I have friends moving to Tulsa in June, so I'll be staying with them if I come.
I was hoping to snag the prize for 'farthest distance driven in a bullnose', but it looks like F834 has me beat out of the gate. :) |

Ah, but not by much; if I take the long route through St. Louis I could probably beat him. Given that my truck is decidedly not a highway cruiser, though, it's probably not worth the effort. :) |
Gary, looks like I will be coming with "Little Joe" after all which really is what I should do. Work on him has kind of stalled out so he is a work in progress (although not much progress) I plan on leaving around noon on Friday and taking it easy coming over which should put me in Skiatook around 4 or 5pm. So I was wondering if you need any help with anything that evening, if so I will do what I can.
