Newbie.

Hi, I 'm new to the site. I have a new project 1981 f-250 Trailer Special 2wd roller that I'm trying to get the engine, trans and mechanicals done. I am also trying to find 1 hard to find fender emblem and will be replacing 2 others as well. I have just skimmed the site and find it very informative and fun. Look forward to meeting you all.

1981 f-250 Ranger XLT 4x2 trailer special.
1991 f-150 lariat 5.0 4x2 long box orig. 368k miles. Best truck I ever owned.
Past vehicles: Original light green metallic 1968 f-250 390/auto. camper special.
Original 1954 Ford p/u.

Welcome to the forum.

You need to keep in mind that the number ON the part is an engineering number and not the part number that you could order.
But often on eBay you're going to have sellers listing the number they find and not the actual part number.

Lil'Red is a '87 F250 HD, 4.10's, 1356 4x4, Zf-5, 3G, PMGR, Saginaw PS, desmogged with a Holley 80508 and Performer intake.
Too much other stuff to mention.

Thanks Jim, and thanks for the part # tip. Yes I am familiar of the engineering numbers versus part# and I did notice here the engine perches had the numbers needed which helped.

Pictures are a problem on this site. See the how-to in Bullnose Forum/Forum FAQ's. But even that isn't definitive.

And, I added you to the map. But I had to move you 'cause Chris/ctubutis was already in Littleton, so I moved you a bit.

Usually a zip code is the best way.

Thanks Gary. I believe I removed it. Unfortunately though I have changed the way I see comments and reply's. Everything is condensed into one narrow line and would prefer to read everything in original text and pic's. How can I change back.
