Sooooo…
I used to play poker with a few guys up till the pandemic. The host had a nice Bullnose, F250 extended cab I think . I used to tease him, “if you ever want to sell it, let me know.” I got a text. Picking up the title tomorrow for $500. Will get the truck during the week when I can get a ride out to it as it is a few miles out of town. All I remember is the truck is brown/bronze and was a work truck/daily driver. This is all very exciting! My wife is NOT excited….

You're going to have the longest signature ever!
Though Angelo has you beat by a mile on the sheer number of vehicles listed. Your wife should be excited about a 'new' truck. Guess it depends on how deep you decide to go with this one. I'm interested to see what name you come up with for this one. Anyway, I'm following...

Congratulations! For $500 you cannot go wrong if you can drive it home. And a daily driver is ideal as they can't have anything major wrong with them. However, there are likely to be lots of little things you can do that will be easy but satisfying.
As for your wife, get it cleaned up and take her for a ride, stopping at her favorite refreshment stand.

The wife is in good spirits this morning, already laughing and telling me to work out where to park it.
Need to work a few details out but will certainly update here. No discussions on names until the truck is here, that is the rule.

Excellent! But how many gas/petrol stations are between you and it? May cost you more to get it home than you paid since that 460 won't pass any of them w/o stopping to fill up.

snow clears! where are you?

For what I understand, Dave is in OR (Bend). I was surprised to see that you have these days similar but little bit cooler weather than here! Mont-Tremblant QC. Possible snow here next Tuesday, hoping will be rain. Keeping winter tires for couple days ahead, never know.

Maybe frost tonight, inland. 😳
But I'm close to the shore so hopefully it won't kill any new growth.

We had snow all week here in Bend. The mountain was awesome!
Looks like spring is returning next week. I am picking the truck up about 5pm. Need to look for a gas station, it is about an hour away in Prineville.

She made it home! Only had to stop at one station.
She has got a little rough since I last saw here. No rust though. Here is a pic:

Wow! Nice looking truck. Well done!
I find the paint particularly interesting where the cab meets the box. Would the factory have stopped the upper color on the cab and not extend it onto the box?

There were three tu-tone pattern options.
Victoria, Combination and Deluxe I'm pretty sure Victoria just wrapped up the back of the cab.
