I'm looking for the frame rail bracket for the front sway bar on a Bronco and some F150s. I thought I knew the part number but what I just got in the mail is not right. I circled the part in the diagram (this is from the front sway bar diagram on the forum). Does anyone know the part number?

This is probably going to be a multi-part response.
You've circled what looks to be base part number 5493, but here's what the catalog says for that: 5493 INSULATOR (STABILIZER BAR)-Refer to group 5482 or 5A772. Clearly 5493 is the wrong part. But also in that circle is "5D485 or 5486" with 5486 having a black dot in front of it which, I think, means discontinued. 5D486 is Bracket (Front Stabilizer Bar) and 5486 is Bracket (Stabilizer Bar). So here are the listings for both of those:

From the 1980 Master Cross Reference List ID# E0TA-5D485BB is part number E0TZ 5D485-B, and ID# E0TA-5C495BB is PN E0TZ 5D485-A.

I need the E1TZ parts for my Bronco, not the E0TZ parts on eBay. The E0TZ brackets mount the isolators onto a curved crossmember. I bought them by mistake and can't use them.
I guess I needed the mount for the HD suspension, even though the Bronco does not have the HD suspension. SMDH. I got E1TZ-5D485-A from Green's for $6. I'm still looking for E1TZ-5D485-B but I have a couple of lines on one. BTW, Gary - I believe the "dot" in that picture indicates 2WD part number and the triangle indicates 4WD part number. Not related to superseded part numbers.

Thanks for helping me sort it out, y'all. I'm going to transfer this note to the sway bar thread I was sharing.

The Star and Dot, among other marks, can mean anything. It depends on the notation for them on the specific page you are looking at.
Like the Mounds and/or Almond Joy commercial.. Sometimes it means discontinued, other times it don't.

Good to know it can vary, but on that page with the explosion I showed:

I'd missed that originally, Chad. So I'm glad you pointed it out. As Ralph said it varies by page, and I just missed it on that page.
