You probably found these, but in case you didn't, the aftermarket kits are cheap:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-235/make/fordA minor FYI...if you happen to locate a timing cover for an EFI 302, then it will work. I took apart an '85, and the covers are the same casting, without the actual hole for the fuel pump arm. I drilled that one out, and then cleaned the hole up with the Dremel. The threaded holes are there regardless.
Edit...I'm only referring to the 1985-1986 302 EFI...I assume the covers changed in 1987 when they went to the serpentine system.
