Just seeing if there is any interest. I am investigating in a laser etcher soon and wondered if there would be any interest for metal plates for sat door tags and under the hood. I will be able to scan those bad boys in and replicate in metal vs printed vinyl.

I find this interesting since I always lose the door jamb sticker when I strip and paint. I don't like losing that.
you are not proposing to replicate the vin tag, so I don't see an issue there, yet the sticker also has the vin on it. look into any issues with that first.
I prefer the aluminum tag in the door jamb even though these did not get them. earlier trucks did. l consider this a novelty and a way to customize the truck per the customized options like when we change colors, engines, axle ratios trans. etc. making it "yours".
No issue replicating the door jamb sticker.
Marti will do it for you....

I went ahead and bought the laser. I'll be able to laser cut gaskets and other items under 16 inches as needed as well as engraving decals and tags. I looked into getting my own Brady printer like we have at work for the fuel/fluid proof decals but that machine runs about $3000.
