I picked up some Ford OEM service manuals from a dealership that had closed.
I have pretty much everything from 1980 through 1995 except for 1986. I'm going to liquidate this enormous collection at some upcoming swap meets, but I wanted to offer up the Bullnose manuals here first. What I have is typically 5 volumes per year. Topics are Body, Chassis, Electrical light truck, Engine light truck, Body, Chassis, Electrical Med/Heavy truck, Engine Med/Heavy truck, and Pre Delivery. I have 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, and 1985 packages. I do not have 1982 or 1986 packages. 1980/1981 also include Courier. 1985 has EVTM's for Bronco/F-150-350/F-SuperDuty, Econoline and Ranger/Bronco II I'd like to sell these as complete packages by year. Price is $50 CDN per year plus shipping from S0A 2P0 I have a lot more service literature as well, just thought I would put up the Bullnose items here. Thanks. |

Ray - That's a good offer, and I'm sure folks will take you up on some, if not all, of them. In my case I have the 1981 and '85 sets, so don't really have a need for more service manuals.
Having said that, do you have any other Bullnose literature?

Everything I picked up was service specific. There was a lot of sales literature at the sale that would have been fascinating, but I would have needed a large trailer to haul it all home let alone organize and store it!
I'm just starting to sort through the small amount of miscellaneous manuals and I found one labelled 1980 ESSDS, (Emission Systems Schematics and Diagnostic Specifications). It's full of those vacuum routing schematics you normally find on the rad cradle decals, all 1980 models and engines. Not being a carburetor friendly type of guy, I have no need for it, but I'm sure this info is of value to someone. What I am keeping for myself is the wiring diagram books. These have large pages, (11X17) with all wiring diagrams for all models and I have all years 1980 through 1995. Sort of a short form of the multiple pages in the EVTM's. I hope to scan them into PDF's. |

I have the '81 and '85 wiring diagrams for sure, and think I have some others. And, I scanned some one of them and put it here: Electrical/Wiring Diagrams. But the way I did it didn't work at all, so I'll be looking for other ways to do it.
One approach would be if they were scanned into some document format that I can put on my Google drive. That's because I can embed a doc from my Google drive on a webpage and you can then click on the doc and it'll download and open on your computer. So, if you are going to scan them could you scan them into a pdf?

Hey Ray,
Something I'm curious about is information on the M5OD-R2 5spd trans. Do you know if there are any details on disassembly and assembly instructions in the 1988-up manuals?

Thanks Steve. That is basically what I was looking for. I have one in the truck, and a spare that I want to disassemble this winter for a refresh.

Sir, do you still have any 1984 sets? Thank you
|
Sure do.

Hi Ray. Even though my truck is a 1982, would the 1983 manual be useful?
Gavin.

Ray will probably chime in soon, but there's very little difference between an '82 and an '83, so an '83 manual would work very well for an '82.

Thanks Gary. If that is the case I would be interested in purchasing the 1983 manual(s) if they are still available?

Do you have a set for '81 still available? Do you have the EVTM as well? Thanks

These questions are for Ray/NotEnoughTrucks - right?

Correct. Did I mess up the post or am I missing something? I tried to “email member” as well but haven’t got a reply. Thought I’d try posting as well. I am trying to find a complete set of manuals and he is in Canada which makes a huge difference for shipping. I was looking at the cd’s but they only list 3 volumes and I thought there should be 5. I may not need all 5, but I could use the evtm and wiring digrams.

Hey Ray, Are the wiring diagram books something that can be copied? Is there more info in them than what is in the EVTM's? Or is it basically the same stuff, but all on one page?

Brad - I don't think you messed up. I think Ray's frozen in place.
I sent him an email as well. Lets see if that breaks him free. Cory - I suspect that the wiring diagrams are like those shown here, meaning multiple pages for each year and in large format: Electrical/Wiring Diagrams. But I don't know if that's the case.

Pretty much correct Gary. Almost -40C out here. Also been tied up in a local project that has been taking entirely too much time.
Brad, I did get your email yesterday, check for a reply. And yes, I have a large collection of wiring diagrams that I hope to scan. They are on 11X17 sheets, (A3 paper), so I have been looking for a scanner suitable for this task. There is enough material here that taking it to the local print shop would be costly! These drawings are laid out somewhat differently than the EVTM's. Also, EVTM's really were not used till 1985 when EFI became a common option. Earlier documentation included all the electrical information in the shop manual. Here are a couple of photo's of the 86 manual to show you what I have. The F150/250/350 has 9 double sided A3 pages. I have wiring diagrams all years and models from 1980 through 1995. I have sold some sets of shop manuals, but I'm keeping the wiring diagram books. I also have some interesting emissions documentation on a year by year basis. At this point, I may still have 1 or 2 years of Bullnose manuals left, but I am unsure which years and it's a long cold trek through the snow to my storage to find out. Thank you everyone for the interest. |
