ADWW = Advanced Diesel Winter Warmup.

Expertise in truck orientation and HVAC vs prevailing winds so's you can climb in a toasty cab after warmup but not have it full of exhaust.

Reno, when I had my GM Diesel cars, I would plug one in at night so (a) it would fire right up and (b) I had heat and defrost right away.

Dang!  How many watts was that heater?  Our Ford diesel pickups have 1kw or 1.5kw heaters, and that only allows them to start, not to have heat come out the vents. Maybe it's that huge 950 chunk of iron under the hood that consumes more heat than your cars did.
