Handling/Suspension package?

Can anyone speak to what would have been included in the handling/suspension package associated with the "required trailer towing package" for a 1984 F150 with a 4.9, 4-speed overdrive, and a 3.55 rear end?  I plan to upgrade from the 3.08 and have a line on a 3.55.  I'd prefer to upgrade this way versus changing the transmission to keep by the Ford options as close as possible.

Sway bars?  Stouter coil springs in the front and more leaf springs in the rear?  Anything else?

"Super cooler" would be a three core radiator versus a normal two core radiator, right?
