Front Drive axle Dana 44

Hi Gents (and Ladies), I cannot find what the thread size/type is in the centre hole at the end of the front drive axles on my 1984 4WD. Does anyone know?  I want to use a slide hammer to pull a stubborn axle but cannot find what that thread is to get the right adapter. Thanks in advance!
