That is a GOOD price and decent shipping on a NOS bumper!

What I find interesting, that I've never noticed before, is that there are only two bumpers listed for the Flaresides, as shown below and extracted from the Exterior/Bumpers page. (Remember that a Flareside is body style 83 while a Styleside is a 99.) One is chrome and is supposedly only for the 1980 Flaresides, and the other is Black Hi Gloss and is only for the '82 Flaresides. What did all the other Flaresides wear?

If I had the extra cash on hand, I'd buy that in heart beat to have as a bargaining chip for for flipping later. That is a great deal.

It "should" Fit all 80 to 87 Flaresides.
I do know the 70's chrome bumpers Do not fit cause the bolt holes are a different configuration...

I’m guessing the chrome one is missing “/86” (or 87) and the black one is missing “/83”.

I had a discussion with Christopher Lott about the narrow flareside step bumpers that one often sees, and he said they are just a common dealer added aftermarket option. Not Ford which you just showed as well with the parts catalogue.

Regarding the eBay listing, it is a bid auction. There are no bidders yet but my guess is that the final price will be considerably higher?

I missed that it is an auction. Well spotted!

But I do agree w/you on the errors in the catalog. And, I can add them if we knew. Rear bumpers were used for several years after the Bullnose era, so '87 is feasible. And did the black bumper end in '83?

It was a Ford Option/part
My 1986, (ordered by me from Patalano Ford) back in 1986 did come with that style chrome bumper.
I saw the Flareside truck while still on the transport truck being off loaded onto Patalano's lot...
