Cutting stuff out... Hmmm what are theses things?

I thought I posted this earlier and it may show up as duplicate.

I'm trying to clean up the engine bay.  The DS box is unplugged completely.  There is (was) a cruise module in there and a blue box.  

See photos.  What is the blue box?  I had truck running as I cut wires so if it quit, is kinda know the last thing I cut.  

Lot of wires going nowhere, ending in plugs or cut wires.

Nothing in the cab now.  Plain steering wheel with wood trim, but that's all.  No extra control boxes.  I just want to get rid of all the extra junk.  Someone installed a 1 wire electronic distributor, so the DS box isn't needed either.  It may not work?
