I'm interested but have some homework to do on color, size, and how it fits up. I have a seat cover and am wondering if it will be an issue.

Rob - Don't have my samples yet. But once I do there's no reason for me to wait until Christmas to order. And as for the kickback, y'all keep it. I'm doing fine. But I appreciate the thought.
John - Sounds good. All - Anyone else? Need a couple more to get the discount.

OK so I am assuming since 1980's models are not on there you just get the 1979 series for Ford Trucks.
Has anyone mocked up the floor console? I am curious if that would impede the ashtray etc. I have a 2wd auto so there is no issue there for me. https://classicconsoles.com/product/king-konsole-universal-truck-floor-console/ EDIT** Found the cruisers that are being talked about.

I think you figured out that the year doesn't matter. I explained to them that their site isn't very helpful in that respect.

Yep, I need to get my bench back in so I can see how the floor model works. I am interested in that as well.

George - Sorry for the late reply, but we've been gone for a fortnight on vacation and just got home so I'm trying to catch up.
According to this page on their site the standard prices are: BC Shorty: $135BC Cruizer: $145BC Tall Shorty: $145BC Tall: $160Those prices are with the large drink holder in black. You can go with the mega drink holder in black, which adds $5, or you can change the color of the drink holder's rim and that adds another $5. In other words, a large drink holder with a black rim adds $0; a mega drink holder in black adds $5; a large drink holder with a different colored rim adds $5; and a mega drink holder in a different color adds $10. And all of those prices are standard. So if we get a group of 5 or more we'll get 10% off that.

I got my samples Gary, were yours waiting for you when you got home? I got all the blues and blacks. Now I'm waiting for the boss' opinion to choose one.

Yep, mine were waiting in the mail when I got home. Hope to get out to the shop this afternoon and see how they, the blues, look against BB's upholstery.

Gary. Isn't your interior and Brutus the same color?

Maybe, George. We should at least have the same trim color as 1985 & 6 used the same blue. But, as shown below, my seat has KB as the code, and that translates to "blue cloth and vinyl". And KB was also used in '86 - is that what you have?

Rob - I don't know how many are ready to pop for one. But I'm ready.
Today I backed Big Blue out of the shop and into the daylight to compare Classic Consoles colors to those on BB. That was after trying to compare colors in the shop and finding it very difficult. And even in the daylight it was difficult. Turns out that there are three different colors in Big Blue's upholstery, as shown below. The seat belts come closest to Corinthian Medium Blue. But the side of the seat is closer to Metallic Dark Blue. And the seating surface could be MAD 4470 Blue or Metallic Dark Blue. Given that, I called my consultant out and she said that Metallic Dark Blue is the best match overall. So, I think I'm going to get a Shorty for Christmas.

Looks like we might have 5 interested at the moment. Lets give everyone until next weekend to commit? My wife is away until Thursday so I can't tie down a color before then anyway. I'm not color blind, just color oblivious...
Did they tell you how to go about the group order Gary?

No, they didn’t tell me how to order. But we can give them five names and the size and color for each, along with an email address.
I’m sure we will get it done.

I sent an email request for color samples earlier this week and they promptly replied stating that they would send me the requested samples shortly. My interior color is Med Gray but I have a saddle style seat cover with a black center stripe. Thinking I may go black. As you've noted, they have three different blacks!
