That is one hard to find emblem. No idea on the pins, I don't remember drilling holes when I put Trailer Special emblems on my F150, so I don't think they had pins. Plus, those "pins" are really flush and there doesn't seem to be any damage to the adhesive protection tape from a moving tool scraping against it.

That's interesting. I can't seem to find any references to retainers for it, and since it came with adhesive I'd be inclined to think it didn't have any pins.

My trailer special emblem also didn’t use pins, just adhered on.
