I was doing this today - I think 8 mm = 5/16"

It is close enough.
11~ 7/16, 13~1/2, 14~9/16, 16~5/8, 19~3/4, 22~7/8 etc...

Lil'Red is a '87 F250 HD, 4.10's, 1356 4x4, Zf-5, 3G, PMGR, Saginaw PS, desmogged with a Holley 80508 and Performer intake.
Too much other stuff to mention.
