Had to hurry it up to get Brutus entered in the show.
The dash is installed, the underhood is near complete and driverside door is done. The new steering wheel should be in tomorrow hopefully

Thanks. We kind of have to go into rush mode. It needs to be drivable by the weekend. The car is nearly dead. No brakes and the transmission is slipping. All electronic issues. See why i want this truck on the road.?

I really am excited to be able to start using it again. it's more comfortable then my crown vic and gets about the same milage. With a bed full, it rides like a town car

The interior is fastly becoming complete. The new steering wheel installed. Sound system installed and the last of the upgrades. Audo dimming rearview mirror from the parts vic. The rest of the hand made wire harness's in the doors complete along with the keyless entry The floor is covered in bed liner, followed by carpet underlayment, then carpet. The 6x9 speaker holes, yes they are factory, horrible arent they? looks like someone did it with a can opener.

Thanks Gary. Yea its coming, slowly , but going. We are finding more things that need to be taken care of before he hits the road. Found a transmission line leak and really looked at the lines and decided they need to be replaced. More under hood wireing to do and carb work. I finally got the spacer in and his exhaust system is totally sealed up now, so i can get on the final tweaking of the yfa.
Once im done, i will video, which i have a question for you. When i put a video on youtube and share the link, it dosen't put a preview. I notice when you do it does, what are you doing to have the preview?

While on Youtube get the "embed" code. On here tick the "Message is in HTML Format" box and paste the code into your post.
But you'll then find that in HTML format hitting "enter" doesn't create a line feed in the post when you preview. To get a line feed hit Formatting and then hit Line Feed. That will put the right code into your post for a line feed.

Well Brutus has been on the road as a daily driver for a week now and everythings to be running very well. The egr delete with the carburetor located about half an inch closer to the manifold has proven to give Brutus a bit better gas milage and a slight bit more get up and go. Still much work to do, but so far we are very happy and glad we are able to drive it again.
I know i have some of this stuff posted in other threads, but i need to keep up my thread as to try and keep things in order. Here is the new carburetor spacer in place , thanks Jim for picking it out for me. We didn't know what to do with the extra hole in the mainifold to feed the egr, it was a bit of a problem because the new spacer covered just a small part of the hole. I wanted to put a bolt, but the spacer got in the way of the bolt head. We cut the bolt head off even with the manifold and everything fits great. On the other side, as you know, Brutus had that Thermatctor set up. Where the thermactor went into the exhaust, as luck would have it, we were able to also screw another bolt in and now everything is sealed.
