My dad's 1991, 1995, and 1987 trucks all had the same red interior. It might be why I don't care for it much, I'm simply tired of it after growing up with it.
I also had a buddy in high school with an 85 F150 Lariat that had the same red interior.
Not to be a smartass, but...
1984 - 1987 = Canyon Red interior
1988 - 1993 = Scarlet Red interior
1994 - 1997 = Ruby Red
And that is off of memory. I know that because I wanted to change the fabric pattern in my 1985 model a few years ago when I got my 1987 - 1991 style seat - but I wanted to keep the same shade of red to match the rest of my interior. Canyon Red is a dark red/brown shade, whereas the later Scarlet Red was a bit brighter and had more purple in it. And Ruby Red looks like maroon/burgundy.
(After looking at all of the fabric patterns from 1984 - 1987, I settled on the pattern from a 1987 truck, by the way.)
