I wouldn't think the difference would be all that much then. The comp specs I pulled were from their website.

That being said these are all excellent options, should be a good running engine.

I just checked to make sure, and the numbers on the Comp Cams website matched the numbers I posted:

What do you think the chamber volume is? 58, 60 or 64cc?

That is a 60.4cc chamber unless they have been milled.

You're right, thanks for the correction, got the part #s mixed up on the 250 cam the specs you have for the other two cams are very close to the specs I have, couple thousanths here or there difference (manufacturer differences)

Thanks, they've had a couple of thou taken off them to clean them up but that's all.
If I was to use these heads I would need to grind out the humps from the exhaust ports and would probably fit screw in rocker studs too. Or might just be easier to fit the edelbrocks instead.

According to paper they are almost identical.
The standard 5.8L 2V motor used a different cam from the 5.8L 4V H.O. motor:

Ford 5.8L (2V) cam:
260/260 seat to seat duration
.416 intake valve lift, .416 exhaust valve lift
114 degrees lobe separation

The 5.0L (2V) cam is even worse:
.184 intake, .192 exhaust @ .050
.379 intake valve lift, .395 exhaust valve lift
107 degrees lobe separation

Wow, I should see a helluva difference between the 250 cam and the current 5.8L 2v cam then!!
