Bed sizes

Can anybody tell me the bed length options on a 1980 f-150 4x4? Best I can tell the length style side I have is nearly 7” from the front of the bed to the tailgate opening but I e only ever heard of a 6.5” or 8” bed. Mines pretty rusty and I’m looking for a decent replacement but I’m not entirely sure which one I have. Any hep would be greatly appreciated.

The published lengths are 6 3/4' and 8'. You can see that in the 1980 brochure here.
