According to the MPC, the evaporator kit is a 1980-only kit. It calls for a different part number in '81 and on. But the bezel kit was used for many years.

However, note all the other bits and pieces required to use these kits. And, note that it converts a Comfort Vent heater to A/C. It doesn't convert the standard heater to A/C.
