95A 3G Alternator - Vehicles

I been doing some digging for my truck and think I might have compiled a little list of vehicles with 95A 3G alternators with the 8 1/4" ear spacing.

I first looked up a '97 F250 with a 7.5L which gave me the following list for parts interchange.

From my reading, the 7.5L trucks had the 8 1/4" ear spacing and looking at photos unless I am mistaken but the 95A with the 8 1/4" ear spacing has some recessed openings in the ears while the 7" ear spacing has no recessed opening in the ears as the ears are closely mounted to the case.

If this is correct I am looking at the Power Select 77493N0G 95A Alternator for my '82 F150, I can pick this one up from RockAuto for $101.89 brand new without a pulley thus making life easier by not having to disassemble and smack the alternator shaft to unseat the pulley.  The Power Select alternator you will fine on rockauto under their 92 Aerostar with a 3.0L.

Hopefully this is correct cause if I buy this alternator now I wont be able to attempt to mount it till I get my engine finished but I would mount it while on the engine stand to make sure everything fits properly first.

Hopefully this post will help others that are seeking the 95A 3G over the more easily found 130A 3G.  As far as ramp up goes for the regulator I could not say if any of these has that function.  If you want to get the alternator from DB Electrical which I might get due to the cheaper price, its their AFD0076 Alternator for $68.46 but it has a check mark for 1 year warranty on all products so it appears this alternator only has a 1 year warranty.  Again I believe this is the 8 1/4" ear spacing but I do not know, I am going by the recesses in the ears which I have only seen on the 8 1/4" alternators while the 7" didn't have a recess.  If someone here knows more about this than me then I am open to correction as I am not going junkyard shopping I am buying new for my conversion.
