Yes, VERY hard to find. And the used ones are usually dented up and the paint is rubbed off. These were used with the Argent styled steel [wagon] wheels from 1982 - 1989. For 1990/1991, the red stripes were deleted.
I think I paid $200 for a set of four (NOS) about 10 years ago for Lucille, and they were hard to find even then. I sure am glad I picked up a couple of spares, because these have really gone up in price!
That is a complete OEM Ford fog light kit. I have a set of these, but I haven't put them on. I think I paid $100 for these years ago, when nobody cared about these trucks yet. I suppose $399 isn't bad, considering there is another set listed on Ebay for $949!
I think these look MUCH better than the earlier (1980 - 1984) Marchal fog lights with the chrome guards. Unlike the Marchals, the proportions of these fog lights look just right, especially if you have the bumper guards.
